Adam currently serves as Director of Investments for Mercy Health.  He has more than 17 years of investment experience, including 14 years working with institutions to manage their investment programs.  Prior to joining Mercy Health in September 2012, Adam was the investment strategist for Lancaster Pollard Investment Advisory Group located in Columbus, Ohio, an institutional investment consulting firm focused exclusively on non-profit organizations including hospitals, endowments, and foundations.  Previously, he was a vice president at Perspecta Trust, a private trust company based in Hampton, New Hampshire, and a vice president and co-director of research at Fund Evaluation Group, an institutional investment consulting firm located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

In his role as Director of Investments, Adam leads the team that manages Mercy Health’s investment programs, including $2.0 billion in balance sheet assets, $1.5 billion in defined benefit pension assets, and $1.4 billion in defined contribution retirement assets.  His primary responsibilities include asset allocation, risk management, and performance analysis as well as manager due diligence and selection across all asset classes.
